About Michael
Michael Daugherty loves animals. He's always known that he wanted to somehow turn that love into a career. Through a fortunate series of events, he was able to learn pet styling at the renowned Southern Institute of Pet Grooming in South Carolina. Upon graduation, he co-founded TLC Pet Salon in LaFollette, TN. Throughout his career, Michael has trained multiple groomers and establaished TLC as the most highly regarded facility in the region. After 11 years though, Michael was itching to try another facet of the Pet Styling industry. He sold TLC and relocated to Lebanon, TN to work with a local mobile grooming company. Through that experience, Michael decided to open Puppy Love Express in Wilson County. Puppy Love Express has become the fastest growing mobile pet salon in the area!
Michael's calming attitude and attention to detail enables him to give your pet un-rivaled quality of service, clip, and comfort. Michael uses massage techniques to help calm and relax your dog to ehance the enjoyment of the styling experience. He is also certified by the Red Cross in Pet First Aid and CPR.
